- Move immediately to higher ground or upper floors if water starts rising.
- Switch off main electrical circuit breakers and LPG gas cylinders before evacuating.
- Keep emergency kit, Aadhaar card, and medicines wrapped in plastic pouches.
- Boil drinking water thoroughly before consuming.
- Follow official emergency announcements on Flood Watch portal and All India Radio.
DON'Ts (ചെയ്യാൻ പാടില്ലാത്തവ)
- Do NOT walk or drive through moving flood water. 15 cm of water can knock you down.
- Do NOT touch electrical wires or submerged electrical poles.
- Do NOT spread unverified rumors or panic messages on social media.
- Do NOT ignore official evacuation notices issued by Tahsildar / Revenue Department.
